Twelmeyer To Play Volleyball At Northwestern

Grace Twelmeyer (Des Moines, Iowa.) has signed a letter of intent to continue her volleyball career at Northwestern College beginning in the fall of 2020.

16103Twelmeyer is a 5'5" libero who is in her third year playing for the Lincoln High School volleyball team. Twelmeyer is a two-time all-conference selection, earning first team honors as a junior, after leading the conference in digs and digs per last season. She currently has 32 aces and leads the conference in digs per set (3.4) as a senior. Also a letterwinner in both softball and tennis, Twelmeyer is a member of the National Honor Society and National Council of Youth Leadership. She plans to major in Nursing at Northwestern and is the daughter of Dan and Chico.

"We are excited to have Grace join our Red Raider volleyball program," commented Northwestern Head Coach Kyle Van Den Bosch. "She came to our camp last summer and we knew right away that this is the perfect place for her to continue both her volleyball career and education. Grace is very skilled in the backrow and has a knack for keeping the ball off the floor. She is a great athlete and we look forward to her contributions both on and off the floor at Northwestern."
