Game Time... The Northwestern College men's basketball team will makes its 2019-20 season debut this weekend when they host Oak Hills Christian (Minn.) on Friday night, Oct. 25. Tip-off at the Bultman Center is scheduled for 7:30pm.Â
All-Time...Northwestern is 4-0 all-time against Oak Hills Christian, all played within the last three years. Last season, the Red Raiders earned a 112-41 win and defeated the Wolfpack three times in 2016-17: 114-82, 115-44 and 122-71.Â

Oak Hills Christian returns two starters, three players from a 2018-19 team that finished with a 7-16 overall record, 6-4 in their conference. Ronnie Jackson averaged 14.4 points and seven rebounds per game last season. Jackson is closing in the all-time scoring record at OHC. He shot 33% from beyond the arc, draining a team-best 65 three-pointers. Roman Konsella also returns after averaging 9.7 points and 5.1 rebounds per game last year. Jonny Spradling is the other returning player, scoring 15 points in 22 games.Â

Korver begins his 20th season and is the winningest coach in program history, accumulating over 400 wins since his first season in 2000-01. Korver ranks ninth in win total among active coaches in the NAIA and has guided Red Raider teams to 13 NAIA D-II National Tournaments.Â
Last season, Northwestern finished fifth among the 11 teams in the GPAC with an 11-9 mark, 17-13 overall, just missing out on a bid to the NAIA D-II Championship.
