Northwestern College claimed the top spot in the NAIA Volleyball Coaches' poll released earlier today by the national office.

Ranked second in the three previous polls, Northwestern made one final jump, to the No.1 spot, in the Oct. 23 ranking. The Red Raiders are the only unbeaten team in the NAIA, owning a 23-0 overall record, 11-0 in the GPAC. They are coming off three wins over ranked teams, including a 3-0 sweep at No.8 Jamestown on Monday. Northwestern is one of five teams from the GPAC in the top 25, one of seven recognized in this week's coaches' poll: Jamestown (8), Concordia (17), Dordt (20), Midland (T24), Morningside (RV) and College of Saint Mary (RV).

Joining the Red Raiders in this week's  top five; previous No.1 Missouri Baptist, Eastern Oregon, Indiana Wesleyan and Park (Mo.).
