Korthals To Play Volleyball At Northwestern

Wednesday, January 9, 2019

Madi Korthals (Forest City, Iowa.) has signed a letter of intent to continue her volleyball career at Northwestern College next fall.

Korthals is a 5'9" outside hitter who earned three letters playing for the Forest City High School volleyball team. Korthals was part of a team that reached the district finals and finished with a 25-7 record. An academic all-state selection, Korthals plans to major in Biology / Pre-Med at Northwestern. She is the daughter of Mike and Sara.

"Madi is coming off an injury that did not allow her to play during her senior season," commented Northwestern head coach Kyle Van Den Bosch. "She is a great athlete whose best volleyball is still in front of her. We are excited to welcome Madi to our volleyball team and campus next fall."
