Northwestern College pushed its win streak to a season-best four games in its 98-60 home win over Mount Marty Wednesday night at the Bultman Center. The Red Raiders improve to 6-5 in the GPAC, 12-8 overall, and swept the season series against the Lancers. 

The Red Raiders were led by the hot-shooting of Jay Small, who knocked down 6-of-10 three-pointers en route to a game-high 25 points. Small, who has hit at least one three-pointer in every game this season, has scored 20+ points in five games this season. Steven Kragt scored 17 points, 15 coming in the first half, and Christian Korver netted 10 points coming off the bench. 

Northwestern shot 54% in each half, went 13-for-25 (52%) from beyond the arc and held a commanding 48-27 edge on the boards. 13 different players scored for Coach Korver's squad and 14 players saw at least five minutes of court time. 

Small and Kragt combined to score the Red Raiders first 16 points as the hosts raced out to a 19-3 lead after five minutes of play. Jailen Billings knocked down his third three-pointer to get Mount Marty within 13 (22-9) at the 13-minute mark. Northwestern came back with a 10-2 run, capped by a three-pointer from Kragt, to put his team back in front by 21 (32-11). Korver's squad extended their lead to as much as 27 in the opening half and held a 54-31 edge at intermission.

The Red Raiders pushed their lead to 30+ points at the 10-minute mark of the second half and held their largest lead (38) by the end of the game on a field goal by Dalton Moser.

Isaac Heyer dished out six assists and Parker Mulder pulled down six boards to go with five assists. The Red Raiders assisted on 23 of their 37 field goals and shot 11-for-13 from the free throw line. 

Billings led by Lancers with 19 points, followed by both Colby Johnson and Jonah Larson with 13 points each.
