Game Time... Northwestern goes for its fourth straight win as they host Mount Marty for a GPAC match-up on Wednesday, Jan. 9. Tip-off at the Bultman Center is scheduled for 8pm. Northwestern has won three straight consecutive games to climb into a three-way tie for fifth place in the current GPAC standings at 5-5, 11-8 overall. Mount Marty is in 10th place in the GPAC with a 2-7 record, 6-13 overall.

All-Time...The Red Raiders have won 12 straight against Mount Marty and lead the all-time series 56-16, dating back to the 1977-78 season.
Last Time vs Mount Marty... Northwestern shot a season-best 66% in its 102-63 road win over Mount Marty in a match-up played in Yankton, S.D. on Nov. 14.

The Red Raiders opened the game with an 18-4 run and later scored the final 15 points of the first half to take a 53-28 halftime lead. They led by 20+ points for the duration of the final half.
Reily Devine was the only Lancers' player in double figures, scoring 10 on 5-for-9 from the floor.

The Lancers have lost two straight to start the new year, dropping games to Nebraska Christian (88-83) and Morningside (94-49), to fall to 2-7 in the GPAC, 6-13 overall. Prior to those losses, Mount Marty had earned a pair of non-conference wins over Mayville State and Valley City State over the break. They hold wins over Midland and Concordia in GPAC play.
Schilling returns for his second season as the head of the Lancers' program after a stint as the director of Warwick Workouts in Sioux Falls. Schilling, who was a standout player for Augustana College, returns six players from a 2017-18 team that finished 2-16 in the GPAC, 6-23 overall. They were picked 11th in the GPACÂ Preseason Coaches' poll.Â
