Game Time...Conference play continues this weekend as Northwestern heads to Seward, Neb. for a match-up against Concordia. Tip-off on Saturday, Jan. 5, is scheduled for 4pm. On a two-game win streak, Northwestern is 4-5 in the GPAC, 10-8 overall. Concordia is 1-8 in the conference, 8-9 overall.

All-Time... Northwestern leads the all-time series 50-21, dating back to the 1960-61 season. Last year, the Red Raiders won all three games, earning 111-103 and 83-73 victories during the regular season, and 107-87 in the GPAC quarterfinals. Northwestern has won five straight in the rivalry and is 6-4 over the last 10.

    Concordia University Bulldogs: 1-8 (11th), 8-9        Head Coach: Ben Limback (5th year)

The Bulldogs lost to Dordt 91-73 in their first game after the Christmas break, falling to 1-8 in the conference. They are 8-9 overall, holding a 7-1 record in non-conference games. Concordia's last win was a 70-64 victory over McEwan on Dec. 29, a win that snapped their four-game losing skid.

Limback, in his fifth season as the head of the Concordia program, returns one starter and four players from a 2017-18 squad that finished sixth in the GPAC with an 8-10 record, 17-13 overall. They were picked 10th in the GPAC preseason coaches' poll.
