Wrestling Falls to Concordia, 28-10

The Red Raiders (5-3, 4-3 GPAC) fell to Concordia University (9-3, 7-0) Thursday night 28-10.

Northwestern started off the night well with a decision win by Austin Boles. His 5-1 win out the Raiders up 3-0. The Bulldogs would then roll in four straight matches to take a 18-3 lead.

Andrew Null would win via major decision to break the losing streak but the mountain would be too high to overcome for the Raiders despite another win for D'rell Gist at the end of the night.

"I feel like we wrestled hard in some matches and itwas good to see us get some big wins at 25, 65 and 97," commented head coach Rik Dahl. "We let a lot of stuff slip away and we need to get more offensive. I think if we address those things we'll start winning some of those clothes matches."
