The Red Raiders travel to Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif. to face fourteenth ranked Marymount California University. Northwestern (2-3) will face their third team on the year who is either ranked or receiving votes in the top 25 poll.

Scouting Marymount:

The Mariners (2-1-2) are coming off a 2-1 win against (RV) Menlo College and a 0-0 draw against (11) Vangard University. Marymount has had some inconsistent results dropping to  (17) Rocky Mountain College 8-0. The Mariners have scored 6 goals on the year while letting in 10.

Marymount has 5 players who have scored for them. Josip Mijic is the only Mariner that has 2 tallies on the year. Randy Martinez leads the team with 2 assists on the young season. 

Ramon Garcia has started all 5 games in goal for the Mariners and has 13 saves on the year for a .565 save percentage. He has two shutouts (Hope International and (11)Vanguard) on the year.

Scouting Northwestern:

The Raiders are coming of a 2-1 loss to second ranked Baker University. 

The Red Raiders are lead by Jacobo Garcia-Nieto on the goal front with his 3 tallies on the year. Breno Fabbri, Mateus Freitas, and Tyler Limmer all have 2 goals while 6 others have a goal on the year. Tyler Limmer also has 5 assists on the year so far. Limmer is currently ranked 8th in the nation in assists. 

The Raiders have scored 15 goals, good for 30th in the nation and average 2.20 assists per game. While the offense has been strong, the Raiders have only one shutout on the year.

Matt Scott has been strong in goal only allowing 7 goals in on the year. He has 13 saves on the year and has one shutout which came against Trinity Christian College.
