The Red Raiders look to earn their first win of the season Friday and Saturday as they face Kansas Wesleyan University and Trinity Christian University. The Raiders dropped their first two matches to Viterbo University (Wis.) and #2 Benedictine College (Kan.)

Scouting Kansas Wesleyan:

The Coyotes have not played a recorded match to this point in the year. They have had 2 scrimmages to date and will open up the season after a 10-8-2 campaign and a 7-3-1 KCAC season that ended in the KCAC Conference Tournament finals against #12 Oklahoma Wesleyan University. They scored 30 goals in 2017 and let in 20. They return a well balanced lineup but lose a big piece in Jane Potter, their senior goalkeeper who started all but 2 games for the Coyotes.

Scouting Trinity Christian: 

The Trolls are currently 2-0 coming into the Pizza Ranch Classic after beating Missouri Baptist University 2-0 and Indiana Tech 5-0. Jessica Owen leads the Trolls with 2 goals on the year while 5 others have a goal each.

Allyson Kranstz has only had to make 4 saves on the young season and has 2 shutouts in 2 games. 

Scouting Northwestern:

The Red Raiders are coming off a tough game against Benedictine. The 0-2 Raiders look to continue a strong performance history in the Pizza Ranch Classic. The only goal the Raiders have scored has come from Sarah Homan on a free kick. 

Destinee Montenegro and Macy Kuehler have been splitting time in goal for the Raiders and will do so again this weekend.
