Red Raiders Face Strong Pizza Ranch Classic

The Red Raider Men's Soccer program prepares for a tough Pizza Ranch Classic weekend as they face Bethel College (Ind.) and Trinity Christian College (Ill.) on Friday and Saturday respectively. The 10th annual Pizza Ranch Classic has seen many visiting teams come from many locations over the years and this year is no different. Bethel has not visited Northwestern in their two previous matchups and Trinity Christian last visited NWC in 2012 for that season's Pizza Ranch Classic.

Moreira, a senior, has 15 career goals while Barquin, a sophomore, has 7 goals in his career.

The Pilots have returning starter Philip Keller in net for 2018. The senior has amassed 8 shutouts in his career and has 138 total saves. He has 1 shutout over 3 games this season and has allowed 4 goals while making 15 saves.

Scouting Trinity Christian (0-2)

The Trolls are 0-2 on the young seasons with losses to Taylor University (Ind.) and Siena Heights University (Mich.) 0-3 and 0-1 respectively. The Trolls have only had 11 shots total on the season and only 4 of those have come on goal.

Mathis Muller, the Troll's goalkeeper, has 11 saves on the year and has a .733 save percentage.
