The Red Raiders look to earn their first win of the season Saturday as they travel to Benedictine College to face the #2 ranked Ravens. The Raiders dropped their opener 4-1 at Viterbo University. 

Scouting Benedictine:

The Ravens are NAIA National Runners Up after losing in the 2017 National Championship game 2-0 to Spring Arbor (Mich.). The Ravens return 11 players who played in 19 or more matches last season including two of their top three scorers in Anna Romano and Emily Ambuul. Romano and Ambuul are two of four All-Heart selections back from last season as Olivia Meyers and Molly Schmidt return after playing in all 25 matches last season.

Benedictine is 1-0 on th year after dominating fellow GPAC foe College of Saint Mary, 11-0 at home. Emily Ambuul and Nicole Kelly both scored 4 goals in the season opener. 

Scouting Northwestern:

The Red Raiders are coming off a 11-6-3 season, their best ever. The Raiders lost in the GPAC Tournament semi-finals to regular season champions Concordia. 

The Raiders are 0-1 on the year after dropping their road opener to Viterbo University 4-1. The lone goal for the Raiders came from Sarah Homan off of a free kick.

Kickoff is slated for 5pm at the Benedictine Soccer Complex.
