Sydnee Isom (
Fillmore, Calif.) has signed a letter of intent to continue her softball career at Northwestern College next fall.
Isom is a 5'11" pitcher and infielder who played three years for the Fillmore High School softball team. Isom posted a 14-8 record with an impressive 1.17 earned run average, striking out 127 batters in 143 innings pitched, in earning first team all-league honors. She also hit .268 with eight doubles and two home runs, leading her team to the CIF Quarterfinals with a 16-9 record. Isom was an honorable mention all-league pick as a sophomore and is an honor roll student. She plans to major in Biology/Health Professions / Pre-Med at Northwestern and is the daughter of Tim and Leslie.
"Sydnee is an excellent addition to our softball program," said Northwestern head softball coach
Chris Nachtigall. "She has played at a high competitive level and will had depth to our pitching staff. Sydnee is an excellent student of the game and in the classroom and we are pleased that Sydnee has chosen to continue her education and softball career at NWC."
