The Red Raider Tennis team earned a 6th spot in the GPAC Championship when all things were said and done Saturday. The Raiders hosted both Doane College and Hastings College Saturday to wrap up the regular season. The dropped both matches on the day, 4-5 and 1-8 respectively.
The Raiders finished 2-5 in the GPAC and 5-14 overall. Northwestern will take on the 3 seed College of Saint Mary in the GPAC Championship May 4th for the right to take on Hastings College in the second round.
"One goal we have is to get better every time we compete," commented head coach
Jeff Guthmiller. "I felt like we did that today and its a credit to our ladies that they continue to improve."
