Alexis Toering
(Sioux Center, Iowa) has signed a letter of intent to continue her basketball career at Northwestern College next year.
Toering is a 5'11" forward who had a standout four-year career playing for Sioux Center High School. Toering averaged 16 points, 6.4 rebounds and recorded an impressive 169 steals in leading her team to a 24-3 record and a state runner-up finish in class 3A. She was named to the 3A all-tournament team at state for the second straight year. Toering is a three-time first-team all-conference pick, two-time first-team all-state selection as well earning all-conference accolades in both volleyball and track and field. Along with all of her athletic accomplishments, she is a member of the National Honor Society and an honor roll student who plans to major in exercise science at Northwestern. She is the daughter of Mick and Emily.

"Lexi has had an outstanding high school career and has been part of a winning tradition at her high school! She has shown to be able to have an impact on both ends of the floor and we are excited to see that continue as a Red Raider. Lexi is a selfless teammate and a young lady with good character.
