Langenfeld To Play Football at Northwestern

Jaden Langenfeld (Denison, Iowa) has signed a letter of intent to continue his football career at Northwestern College next fall. He will also play baseball for the Red Raiders.

Langenfeld is a 5'11", 160-pound running back and defensive back who played four years for Denision-Schleswig High School. Langenfeld rushed 61 times for 284 yards and averaged 27 yards per kick return in earning second team all-district honors last fall. He totaled 463 return yards and one touchdown while recording 45 tackles as a defensive back. Also a letterwinner in both track and field and baseball, Langenfeld is the son of Chad and Heather.

"Jaden is an outstanding athlete who had a standout career in multiple sports for Denison-Schleswig," commented Northwestern head coach Matt McCarty. "He has tremendous potential as a college athlete and we look forward to having Jaden as part of our Red Raider football team."
