Game 1- Northwestern College 5 (16-15) (9-4)

How It Happened
 -
Noah McBride made the start for Northwestern. McBride went five innings allowing six hits, four runs, four walks, and four strikeouts.
Mason O'Donnell pitched a scoreless 6
th inning. Â With the Raiders trailing 0-4 in the bottom of the 6
th Matt Martin led off the inning with a triple to start the fire.
Dustin Gaither followed with a walk. After a
Mitchell Kresnik RBI single,
Colton Harold laid down a bunt single to load the bases.
Zachary Rosson singled driving in Gaither. AJ Nitschke followed with another single scoring Kresink, but Harold was thrown out trying to score from second. Pinch runner
Britton Yoder and Nitzschke both came home to push the Raiders ahead 5-4 on the
Reed Smith RBI fielder's choice.
Tanner Ortlund came on to pitch the 7
th and pick up his third save of the season. O'Donnell picked up the win in relief and moves his record to 2-0.
Game 2- Northwestern College 6 (17-15) (10-4)
              Mount Marty College 4 (22-16) (8-10)
How It Happened
-
Mitchell Kresnik took the hill for game two and went six innings allowing, six hits, three runs, two walks, and three strikeouts. Mount Marty came out and scored two runs early runs in the first inning. The Raider offense got going in this one in the bottom of the first when they answered for three runs of their own.
Reed Smith,
Michael Callahan, and
Dustin Gaither all came around to score in the inning. The score stayed that way till the 5
th inning when Mount Marty tied the game at 3-3. Again the Raider offense responded with three more runs. This time it was
Christian Stekl,
Britton Yoder, and
Shad Wacker who scored. With a 6-3 lead in the bottom of the 7
th Tanner Orlund came on and finished the game after allowing one unearned run to pick up his 4
th save of the season.
Mitchell Kresnik moves to 5-1 record on the mound.
Michael Callahan went a perfect 4-4 at the plate, while
Reed Smith, and
Matt Martin each had three hits of their own.
Ben De Boer had two RBI's on the day.
Tuesday vs. Hastings College
Game 1- Northwestern College 1 (17-16) (10-5)

How It Happened
-
Alec Rickabaugh started for the Raiders and unfortunately had his shortest outing of the year. Rickabaugh went 2 1/3 innings, allowed six hits, seven runs (three earned), two walks, and no strikeouts.
Nick Stimson pitched a scoreless1 2/3 innings allowing only one hit and striking one out. Â
Ben Zeutenhorst made his collegiate debut with two hitless innings, while picking up his first career strikeout.
Reed Smith had two hits and scored one run.
Michael Callahan had one hit and the lone RBI for the Raiders.

Game 2- Northwestern College 3 (18-16) (11-5)
              Hastings College 1 (18-19) (10-6)
How It Happened
-
Raphael DeHoyos was given the task to even the series with Hastings. DeHoyos answered the call going 6 2/3 innings allowing four hits, one run, walking seven, and recording one strikeout.
Tanner Ortlund recorded the final out picking up his 3
rd save in four games and his fifth save of the season. At the plate
Dustin Gaither had two hits including a triple and a RBI.
Colton Harold also had two hits including a double and a RBI.
Matt Martin,
Zachary Rosson, and
AJ Nitzschke all had one hit in the game. DeHoyos moves to 4-3 on the season with the win.
