Emily Strasser (
Sioux Falls, S.D.) has signed a letter of intent to continue her volleyball career at Northwestern College.
Strasser is a 5'6" libero who had a standout four-year career playing for Sioux Falls Christian High School. A three-time all-state selection, Strasser earned first team accolades as both a junior and senior. She helped lead Sioux Falls Christian to the class A state championship in 2015 and 2017, earning all-tournament honors both years, finishing with a 30-4 record last fall. Strasser is a three-time all-conference pick and was named a finalist for the South Dakota State Class A Miss Volleyball as a senior. She is the daughter of Brent and Monica.
"Emily comes to us after an outstanding high school career at one of the top volleyball programs in South Dakota," said Northwestern head coach
Kyle Van Den Bosch. "She has been a three-year starter at libero and helped lead her team to a pair of state championships. We look forward to Emily's contributions, both on and off the court, at Northwestern College."
