Katie Jacob has signed a letter of intent to continue her track and soccer careers at NWC in the fall of 2019. Jacob, a current junior at Zimmerman High School in Zimmerman, Minn. will look to major in either pre-law or pre-physical therapy while at NWC.
Jacob, a 4-time varsity letter winner, was also awarded with an all-conference honorable mention award during the fall soccer season. She also was awarded the Golden Boot award for most goals scored in the season. Katie is also a part of Central Minnesota Youth Soccer Association's highest level club team.Â

Ben Karnish. "She is a great competitor, teammate, and student and will be able to jump right in the moment she gets here. I am looking forward to her growth while at NWC!"
Katie is also a 4-time letter winner in track. Her main events are the long jump, triple jump, and a variety of sprints. Was an all-conference athlete her sophomore year in the long jump and was the MVP for her jumpers group as well.

Scott Bahrke  "She will add depth to our jumps crew. It will be fun to see her improve working with Coach VP and our other jumpers."
Jacob also competes in basketball at Zimmerman High School and is a member of the National Honor Society along with a school leader for the school's FCA group.
