The Red Raiders dominated the Waldorf Warriors on Senior night at the Bultman Center Thursday night. The Raiders won the dual 40-13 and won four of the seven matches wrestled. The Raiders honored 5 senior wrestlers, Brandon Shuler, Nicholas Null, Brock Brenneman, Jake Hergott, and Eli Dahl on the night.

With the win, the Raiders are now 10-5 overall in duals and have secured 10 wins for the first time since 1989. It is an impressive feat that the Raiders had set out for this season as one of their team goals. The Raiders also put up 70 match points which included 2 tech falls and 2 pins. 

The match of the night turned out to be a loss by the Raiders but the battle was intense and exciting to those in attendance, Jake Hergott lost to 4th ranked Taylor Lehman after having a 10-7 lead after the 2nd period but was taken down early in the 3rd and then could not muster enough at the end to tie up the match, eventually losing 14-12. 

"It was great to have the seniors go out on a win," commented Head Coach Rik Dahl. "Guys wrestled hard and put up big points again to get our 10th dual win. There are some positions we need to work on and we need to come out and control better but overall I was really proud of our guys tonight. This strong season is because of the hard work of our guys, the coaching staff, and all those who help around the program. We are pretty blessed here."
