The Red Raiders went 3-0 (2-0 GPAC) after taking care of business against Doane University (0-3, 0-2 GPAC) Wednesday night.
The Raiders benefited from five forfeits as the Tigers have been struggling with injuries throughout the year.
Even though the dual was more or less in hand, Northwestern wanted to make sure they took care of the whole dual. They tallied three first period falls and one tech fall while only losing one match on the night.
"It is always a little nerveracking when you walk into a dual like this," commented head coach
Rik Dahl. "They guys have been working hard at attacking and we did that really well tonight. It is always good to see the guys take hold of what we have been working on."
