Win Streak On The Line At Jamestown

Game Time... Northwestern puts its three-game win streak on the line when they play at the University of Jamestown (N.D.) Wednesday night in Jamestown, N.D. Tip-off at the Newman Center is scheduled for 8pm. The Red Raiders are currently sixth in the GPAC with a 2-2 record, 7-4 overall, and have won three straight for the second time this season. Jamestown has also won three straight and is currently tied for third in the GPAC with a 4-2 record, 10-2 overall.

All-Time...Dating back to their first meeting during the 1972-73 season, Northwestern holds a 10-5 lead in the all-time series. The Red Raiders are 4-1 over the last five match-ups, including an 81-80 last second win over the Jimmies in the second game of the season last year.

Like Northwestern, the Jimmies have won three straight games coming into Wednesday night's match-up, earning wins over Dickinson State, Mount Marty and Dordt (overtime). Jamestown has lost to ranked teams, Briar Cliff and Dakota Wesleyan, this season.

Neville is in his fourth season as the head of the Jimmies program and returns two starters and eight players from a 2017-18 team that finished tied for second in the North Star Athletic Association at 9-7, 20-10 overall. They were picked ninth in their very first GPAC preseason coaches' poll.

The Red Raiders have won three straight games, matching their longest streak of the season when they won their first three games of the season. Since losing to Viterbo prior to Thanksgiving, Northwestern has rattled off wins over Saint Xavier, Trinity Christian and Dordt.
