Jacob Kindhart (
Shawnee, Kansas) has signed a letter of intent to continue his baseball career at Northwestern College Next fall.
Kindhart is a 5'11" third baseman / catcher who attends St. James Academy. Kindhart also plays for the Kansas Mudcats in the summer where he hit .392 in 92 at bats. Kindhart has a knack for extra base hits as he racked up 15 doubles and two triples, leading to 28 runs batted in and 22 runs scored. Kindhart claimed freshman MVP in 2016, and hustle man of the year in 2018. Â Jacob is a member National Honor Society. Jacob intends to major in Actuarial Science and is the son of John and Jennifer.
Coach Wede stated, "Jacob is a really good player who will thrive on our campus. It is exciting to have another Kansas City area player see the great things Northwestern has to offer in all areas of a college athlete's life. He is a strong academic student and a very good left handed hitting catcher. I really look forward to watching him develop academically and athletically in the next four years."
