Brock Murphy (
Tea, S.D.) has signed a letter of intent to continue his golf career at Northwestern College next fall.

Murphy just completed an outstanding six-year career playing for the Tea Area High School golf team. Murphy won the 2018 Class A Individual State Championship while leading his team to the state championship, their second state title in three years (also won in 2016). He captured the Dakota 12 Conference Individual championship three years and earned medalist honors 15 times during his career. A first team all-state pick in the 2017 and 2018, Murphy has an 18-hole scoring average of 73.4 and a career-best round of 67 (-4). He plans to major in Business Administration / Finance at Northwestern and is the son of Tim and Dawn.

Aaron Aberson. "He has a contagious personality who will make a positive impact on our team and campus. I am excited to see what is in store for Brock over the next four years."
