Shane Geurink (Norwalk, Iowa) has signed a letter of intent to continue his baseball career at Northwestern College next fall.

Geurink is a 6'3" pitcher who has played three years for Norwalk High School heading into his final season next summer. Geurink recorded 16 strikeouts in 29.2 innings pitched as a junior. He is coming off a very productive fall playing for the Grand Slam USA Select team. Geurink plans to major in sports management at Northwestern and is the son of Bob and Brenda.

"Shane is a nice high school pitcher who has really good stuff," said Northwestern head coach Brian Wede. "Shane is a great fit for our program and it will be fun to watch him develop over the next four years."
