Meyer To Play Golf At Northwestern

Ezra Meyer (Spencer, Iowa) has signed a letter of intent to continue his golf career at Northwestern College next fall.

11564Meyer has played three years for Spencer High School heading into his final season this spring. Meyer, a two-time all-state selection, won the Lakes Conference Championship the last two years. He has earned all-conference accolades three times and was named to the class 3A All-Tournament team as a junior. Meyer was named the Nebraska Junior Golf Tour Player of the Year for the 2018 season and has a scoring average of 37.1. Meyer plans to major in Accounting at Northwestern and is the son of Nate and Susan.

"Ezra is an extremely talented, hard-working player who we are thankful to have join our Red Raider program," commented Northwestern Head Coach Aaron Aberson. "He made a swing change last year and is just starting to reap the benefits from. Ezra is beginning to scratch the surface of his potential and I am excited to see what is in store for him the next four years."
