Red Raiders To Meet Morningside In Top 25 Matchup

On the road… The Northwestern Women's basketball team will make the trip south this Saturday to take on Morningside in a showdown between ranked teams. No.8 Northwestern, 2-1 in the GPAC and 5-1 overall, will look to hand the 11th-ranked Mustangs (3-0, 5-0), their first loss of the season. Tipoff is set for 5:00 PM in the Allee Gymnasium.

Northwestern won its second straight GPAC game this Wednesday as they defeated Mount Marty 94-82 in Yankton, S.D. All five starters for the Red Raiders broke double figures, led by Kassidy De Jong with 27 points on 9-17 (6-8 3pt) from the field. Sammy Blum and Darbi Gustafson both scored 17pts with Gustafson pulling down 11 boards.
