All-Time...The Red Raiders have won four straight and four of the last five match-ups against Mount Marty. They are 7-3 over the last 10 and 56-22 all-time against the Lancers. Northwestern swept both match-ups last season.

Since a 3-0 start to the season, the Lancers have lost three straight, losing GPAC games to Dordt and Hastings along with an 87-61 non-conference setback to Augustana College last night in Sioux Falls. They have wins over Waldorf, Presentation and Dakota State.
Schlimgen is in his first season as the head of the Lancers' program, taking over after serving as the long-time assistant under his father. Mount Marty returns four starters and 11 players from a 2017-18 team that finished ninth in the GPAC with a 3-17 record, 13-17 overall. They were picked 10th of 12 teams in the GPAC Coaches preseason poll.

After dropping its first game of the season to Dakota Wesleyan last week, the Red Raiders came back with an 89-44 home win over College of Saint Mary (Neb.) on Saturday.
Kassidy De Jong led the Red Raiders with 17 points and 13 rebounds, her second double-double of the season. Northwestern evened its record to 1-1 in the GPAC and improved to 4-1 overall heading into Wednesday night.
