The Lancers have lost two straight games, both in conference play, and are 0-2 in the GPAC, 2-5 overall. They dropped games to Dordt and Hastings last week after earning its first two wins of the season against both Presentation and Dakota State. Mount Marty opened the year with losses to Dickinson State, Bethany and Waldorf.Â
Schilling returns for his second season as the head of the Lancers' program after a stint as the director of Warwick Workouts in Sioux Falls. Schilling, who was a standout player for Augustana College, returns six players from a 2017-18 team that finished 2-16 in the GPAC, 6-23 overall. They were picked 11th in the GPACÂ Preseason Coaches' poll.Â
