The Red Raiders (8-4-2, 4-1-2 GPAC) dominated Presentation College (0-14, 0-8 GPAC) last night to a score of 10-0.
The Saints held the Raiders scoreless for the first 17 minutes but
Alex Schussman opened up the scoring in the rout.Â
Anselmo Kim added three goals on the night (22nd, 47th, and 49th minutes) while Schussman had his second in the first half (27th minute).
Tyler Limmer (53rd minute),
Breno Fabbri (59th and 68th minute),
Morgan Newby (62nd minute), and
Liam Stoddard (62nd minute) all contributed to the scoreline.
Schussman,
Jacobo Garcia-Nieto, and Pedro Oliveria all had an assist on the night while
Morgan Newby and
Mateus Freitas each had 2 assists.
"The guys battled well tonight,' commented head coach
Dan Swier. We struggled a bit in the first half to deal with their high line. After talking through it at halftime we came out in the second half and looked very sharp. Despite the cold and windy weather it was a fun night."
The Raiders have a week off before they face Dakota Wesleyan University Wednesday, October 17th.Â
