Lydia Pearson (
Sioux Falls, S.D.) has signed a letter of intent to continue her cross country and track and field careers at Northwestern College next year.
Pearson has competed three years for Roosevelt High School cross country and track and field teams heading into her final track season this spring. A state qualifier in cross country as a senior, Pearson has personal bests of 21:25 in the 5K, 5:59 in the mile and 2:40 in the 800m. She is a member of both the honor roll and National Honor Society and plans to major in Business/Spanish at Northwestern. She is the daughter of Kathryn.
"Lydia is a great teammate who will give her best effort in everything she does," commented Northwestern head coach
Scott Bahrke. "She is a passion for running and we are excited to watch her compete for us over the next four years."
