Lacey Wacker was named the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Volleyball Setter of the Week announced by the league office earlier today.
Wacker put up nearly 13 assists per set in leading the Red Raiders to a 5-0 record last week. The freshman directed a Red Raider offense that hit .330 in wins over Buena Vista, Cardinal Stritch, St. Francis, Trinity Christian and Mount Mercy. Wacker served 96% over the five matches and is the second Northwestern player in as many weeks to take home weekly GPAC honors (
Anna Kiel-Attacker of the Week).
Northwestern, ranked No.14 in the latest NAIA coaches' poll, has won 10 straight matches and is 13-1 on the year. They host No.5 Dordt for its GPAC opener tonight at 7:30pm.
