The Defenders lost to No.2 Concordia 101-55 last time out to fall to 2-3 in conference play, 6-7 overall. They are 3-2 over their last five games, earning wins over College of Saint Mary, William Penn and Mount Marty while also losing to Valley City State.
Lindbergh takes over as the interim head coach for one season before Bill Harmsen, the current athletic director and head boys coach at Western Christian High School, takes over next season.
