Game Time...No.15 Northwestern College will host Dordt for a GPAC women's basketball match-up Wednesday night, Dec. 6. Tip-off at the Bultman Center is scheduled for 6pm. Northwestern is currently 3-1 in conference play, 6-4 overall while Dordt is 2-3 in the GPAC, 6-7 overall.

The Defenders lost to No.2 Concordia 101-55 last time out to fall to 2-3 in conference play, 6-7 overall. They are 3-2 over their last five games, earning wins over College of Saint Mary, William Penn and Mount Marty while also losing to Valley City State. 

Lindbergh takes over as the interim head coach for one season before Bill Harmsen, the current athletic director and head boys coach at Western Christian High School, takes over next season. Lindbergh, a former All-American for the Defenders' men's basketball team, inherits a squad that returns one starter and seven players from a 2016-17 team that finished 10th in the GPAC (5-15), 13-17 overall
