Bunnell To Play Volleyball at Northwestern

Josephine Bunnell (Beacon, Iowa) has signed a letter of intent to continue her volleyball career at Northwestern College next fall. 4957

Bunnell is multi-sports standout who played four years for the Oskaloosa High School volleyball team. The 5'7" outside hitter averaged 2.6 kills and 3.7 digs to go with 34 ace serves in earning first team all-conference honors last fall. Also an all-conference selection as a junior, Bunnell helped lead her team to the regional semifinals as a senior. Bunnell was an all-conference pick in both softball and tennis and is a member of the National Honor Society. She plans to major in psychology at Northwestern and is the daughter of Derrick and Nicole.

"Josephine is a good athlete who plays with a great passion for the game," commented Northwestern head coach Kyle Van Den Bosch. "She is a great competitor and we look forward to her contagious energy on the court. We are excited to welcome Josephine to our campus and to our volleyball team."
