Game Time...Northwestern College makes the long road trip west to play Hastings in a conference match-up Tuesday night, Nov. 21. Tip-off at Lynn Farrell Arena is scheduled for 7pm. Ranked fifth in the NAIA D-II preseason poll, Northwestern is off to a 6-0 start to the season, 1-0 in the GPAC. Hastings is also 1-0 in the conference, 8-1 overall.Â

All-Time...Northwestern holds a 32-21 lead in the all-time series but is just 3-7 over the last 10 games against the Broncos. Last year, the Red Raiders went 2-1 against Hastings, with both wins coming at the Bultman Center.

The Broncos won five straight games to start the 2017-18 season and then suffered its only loss, a 73-53 setback at home to Kansas Wesleyan, on Nov.9. Since then, Hastings has wins over Tabor, Sterling and a 70-65 road win over Mount Marty to open GPAC play. They are 8-1 overall on the season.
Coach Gavers, in his fifth season with the Broncos after a standout coaching career at Grand Island High School, returns four starters and 12 players from a 2016-17 team that finished seventh in the GPAC with an 8-10 record, 14-17 overall.Â
