Slagter To Play Basketball At Northwestern

Noah Slagter (Willmar, Minn.) has signed a letter of intent to continue his basketball career at Northwestern College next year.

Slagter is a 6'0" combo guard who has lettered three years for the Willmar High School basketball team heading into his senior season. Slagter earned first team all-conference and first team all-area honors after averaging 21.9 points, 7.7 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game as a junior. He also earned first team all-conference in both his freshman and sophomore and has already surpassed the 1,000 points mark in his high school career. Slagter is a well-rounded athlete as he is an all-district wide receiver on the football team and an all-conference jumper in track-and-field. Slagter is also a member of the National Honor Society and honor roll. He is the son Adam and Stephanie.

"We are extremely blessed to have Noah join the Red Raider family," commented head coach Kris Korver. "Noah is a good athlete, a fierce competitor, a tremendous teammate, and an excellent student. He has been coached well, has a teachable spirit, and works hard. Noah will be a real asset to our basketball program and a blessing to the NWC community."
