All-Time...Northwestern owns a 4-0 record all-time against the Saints in a rivalry that began 1995-96. The teams played twice during the 1999-2000 season and last met in 2002-03 that resulted in a 99-72 win for the Red Raiders.Â

The Saints have split their opening four games, losing to GPAC teams, Doane and Dakota Wesleyan, while defeating Oak Hills Christian and conference member Mount Marty.Â
Reigle is in his eighth season as the head of the Presentation men's basketball program, coming to the Saints in 2010-11 after a successful stint as assistant at William Penn. Reigle, with his 88 wins, is the all-time winningest coach in program history and returns one player from a team that finished eighth in the North Star Athletics Association (NSAA) with a 4-12 record, 10-18 overall. They finished the 2016-17 season ranking sixth in the NAIA in three-point percentage (40%).

Northwestern, with a 4-0 record, is off to its best start since the 2012 season when they opened that season with seven consecutive wins. The Red Raiders, ranked fifth in the NAIA preseason coaches' poll, have defeated three teams from the North Star Athletic Conference, Waldorf, Jamestown and Valley City State, and has a win over NAIA D-I Peru State. Northwestern has won 16 straight non-conference home games, dating back to the 2013-14 season.
Korver, in his 18th season as the Red Raiders head coach, owns a 399-152 record (72%) during his tenure, one win shy of the 400-milestone. Korver has guided the Red Raiders to 12th NAIA D-II Championship appearances, including last year when they lost in the second round to Indiana Wesleyan.Â
