Kailyn Groves (Faith, S.D.) has signed a letter of intent to continue her basketball career at Northwestern College next year.

Groves is a 5'8" shooting guard who will earn her fifth letter playing basketball at Faith High School this winter. Groves is already a two-time team most valuable player and first team all-conference selection, who filled up the stat sheets as a junior averaging 14.3 points per game. She also averaged 8.1 rebounds, two assists, three steals and one blocked shot last season. Also a three-year letterwinner in volleyball, Groves plans to major in biology and math at Northwestern. She is the daughter of Kevin and Buffy.

"We are excited to welcome Kailyn to our women's basketball program and to Northwestern College," said head Northwestern basketball coach Chris Yaw. "Kailyn is a great young lady with an established work ethic both academically and athletically. Her ability to be an offensive threat on the court, from different areas and in different ways, is a great asset. Kailyn's competitive spirit and nose for the ball combine to make her strong rebounder."
