Raiders Get Big Road Conference Win

Northwestern College opened the 2016 conference season with a 1-0 win at Concordia University. Alissa Christoffer delivered the lone goal in the game. Northwestern moves to 5-4 overall and now 1-0 in the conference.

Northwestern College got the only goal of the match at the 30 minute mark from Alissa Christoffer. Christoffer recieved a pass from Madeline Jacob on a corner kick and put it in the net.

Play was back and forth all afternoon with great defense and saves by Madison Fordyce who recorded six saves to deliver a shutout for the Raiders.

Up next for Northwestern

Raiders host two conference teams next week with Dakota Weselyan coming to town on Wednesday, September 28, and Midland on Saturday, October 1st.
