Northwestern College dropped a four-set match on the road to No.20 Doane played this afternoon in Crete, Neb. Individual scores were 25-19, 25-18, 24-26, 25-22.
The Red Raiders fall to 2-2 in the GPAC, 10-11 overall and Doane improves to 2-2 in conference play, 12-4 overall.
Jessica Jensen put down a match-high 14 kills in leading at Northwestern attack that hit .156 over the four-set match. Jensen has now hit for double figures in five of her last six matches and 12 overall this season. A.J. Horstman and Lauryn HIlger added 13 and 11 kills, respectively.
Doane hit .246 for the match and held a 9-6 advantage in blocks. They also had 12 ace serves, five by Kaitlin Bradley who also led the Tigers with 13 kills.
Jillian Estes led the backrow effort with 15 digs while Jessa Doom lofted up 42 assists in leading the Red Raider offense.
