Five Red Raiders scored in double figures as No.6 Northwestern College rolled to a 115-44 home win over Oak Hills Christian in non-conference play. Northwestern improved to 12-1 this season and earned its 12th straight win.

Derek Buysse scored a game-high 18 points and pulled down a career-best 10 rebounds for his first double-double as a Red Raider. Nathan Wedel netted 15 points and dished out four assists and both Colton Kooima and Grant Rohrer chipped in 12. Justin Van Kalsbeek added 11 points and six boards. 

How It Happened...

Northwestern began the game by scoring the first 10 points en route to an 18-2 run over the first five minutes. 

A three-pointer by Buysse gave the Red Raiders their first 30+-point lead, 51-19, with 1:20 left in the first half

Northwestern cleared its bench in a second half that had all 14 Red Raiders play and score at least three points

Northwestern shot 58% for the game, 48% (13-for-27) from the three-point line.

The Red Raiders held a commanding 68-27 edge on the boards and limited the Wolfpack to just 23% from the field
