Raiders Move Winning Streak To Six

Raiders improve to 4-0 in conference play and have won six straight.

Northwestern College played Mount Marty College Wednesday afternoon. The Raiders win convincingly with a 6-0 victory. With the win Northwestern improve to 8-4 (4-0) on the season.  With the loss the Lancers fall to 0-8 (0-4). 

The Raiders offense took 50 shots on the game, while holding Mount Marty to just two total shots.

Nortwestern got only one goal in the first half and that was a Jahdai Dunk score 15 minutes into the match.

At the half it was only a 1-0 score, but the Raiders turned up the heat in the second half with 33 shots.

Madison Bertman got the Raiders going with a goal not even two minutes into the second half.

Alissa Christoffer added another goal to her fine season with a goal not even 5 minutes after Bertman's.

Jennifer Inge and Tatiana Garcia each added a goal with both assists being credited to Alissa Christoffer.

Raiders finished the scoring when Madeline Swift scored off a pass from Tamra Wielenga.

Northwestern is 4-0 in conference play and currently tied for 1st overall in the GPAC with No. 10 Hastings College.

Wednesday, October 12th Raiders will travel to Dordt at 1:00 p.m.
