NWC Sets Records Against Mount Marty

Northwestern College played Mount Marty College Wednesday afternoon. The Raiders were able to score early and often to pick up a 15-0 win. With the win Northwestern improve to 5-8 (2-2) on the season.  With the loss the Lancers fall to 3-8 (0-3). 

15-0 is a new Red Raider record for goals scored in a single game and also is the record for largest margin of victory.

The Raiders offense took 35 shots on the game and were able to capitalize on 15.

Northwestern was led in the goal column by Wesley Lockwood who totaled three goals and one assist.

Raiders also found two goals and one assist from both Breno Fabbri and Tyler Limmer.

Anselmo Kim and Morgan Newby each scored twice.

Cole Cruse was able to score one time and was credited with one assist.

Justin Baird also accounted for one goal and one assist.

Braxton Williams and Connor Tupper each had one goal.

Goals come from great passes on occasion and Hartrick Tarr and Jacob Garcia-Nieto each had two assists, while Connor Sams had one assist.

Mike Wick was credited with the shutout with zero goals allowed.

Northwestern is 2-2 in conference play and currently tied in 5th overall in the GPAC.
