Northwestern College played Morningside College Wednesday evening. Northwestern lost the contest 0-1. Northwestern is now 10-7 overall and now 6-3 in the conference.
Northwestern had some opportunities in this match with three total corner kicks on the night and seven attempted shots.  Unfortunately for the Raiders only three shot attempts landed on goal. Madeline Swift had the best chances to put Raiders on the board with two shots on goal, but both were denied.
Morningside took ten shots with three shots on goal. Â
The lone goal came on a penalty kick in the 76th minute to give Morningside the 1-0 advantage.
Mustang's keeper Niccole McGuire recorded three saves and is credited with a shutout.
