Raiders improve to 5-0 in conference play and have won seven straight.

Northwestern College played Dordt College Wednesday afternoon. The Raiders picked up a 3-1 decision. With the win Northwestern improve to 9-4 (5-0) on the season.  With the loss the Defenders fall to 6-6-1 (2-3). 

Nortwestern scored early into the match when Jahdai Dunk sent a cross to Madison Bertman who delivered with a score two minutes into the match.

At the half it was only a 1-0 score.

Dordt got the equalizer in the 59th minute with a goal from Kenzie Bousema. This goal was the first goal that Northwestern has allowed in conference play.

Only one minute later in the 60th minute Tatiana Garcia received a pass from Jennifer Inge and put the Raiders back on top with a score of 2-1.

Inge and Garcia decided they were not done with scoring as Garcia buried another ball into the back of the net only 40 seconds later.  

Madison Fordyce recorded five saves on the game to help the Raiders defeat the defenders 3-1.

Northwestern is 5-0 in conference play and currently tied for 1st overall in the GPAC with No. 10 Hastings College.
