Halpin recorded the most takedowns in a season (76), most team reversals (29) and most near falls (66). Halpin also placed fourth at the Rocky Mountain Nationals and was crowned champion at the ‘Who’s Bad National Classic’. An outstanding student, Halpin plans to major in biology/health professions and enter the pre-medicine program at Northwestern.
“We are excited to sign Nate,” commented head coach Rik Dahl. “Signing him was priority for us. With his credentials and never-say-die attitude, has proven he has what it takes to succeed. We will be a better team because he is in our room. Just as important, outside of the room, Nate will make a positive contribution to the Northwestern community.”
