Etherington (Jr., Algona, Iowa) hit .333 with three home runs and six RBIs in last week's GPAC tournament.
In the circle, she compiled two wins with 12 strikeouts, helping Northwestern's pitching staff pass the program's single-season strikeout record.
She was on fire at the plate in the first three games of the tournament, batting .500 with three home runs, including a grand slam.
