Steve Jacob joined the Northwestern College staff in January 2022 and serves as the Director of Athletic Advancement. He works closely with Vice President of Athletics Tony Hoops to grow the Raider Athletics Association (RAA), the fundraising arm of Northwestern Athletics.Â
Jacob earned his degree in Secondary Education/Social Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in 1984. His family and him relocated from Zimmerman, Minn. where he was in the office supplies industry for 33 years. Â
Â
"I am so thankful that (my children) choose Northwestern. The faith aspect was very important to our family. I've learned over the past seven years that Northwestern also excels in both academics and athletics," said Jacob. "It's truly been a blessing to my family. I'm looking forward to being part of this wonderful institution."
Â
Jacob firmly believes in Northwestern College and its mission of empowering students to lead lives of significance.
Â
"We have a great story to tell and a unique mission," concluded Dr. Parker. "Steve will have a positive impact on our coaches and teams by sharing our mission and needs with the Raider faithful."
Jacob is married to his wife, Cindy and they have four children Eliza, Maddie, Zach, and Katie. Maddie and Katie both played on the Northwestern College women's soccer team, and Eliza is a graduate of the NWC Master of Education program. "I believe strongly in this school and its mission," noted Jacob. "It's a blessing to be part of it."
