High School: ran four years for the Algona High School track and field team; three-time state qualifier and school record holder in the shuttle hurdle relay; placed ninth at the 2014 state meet in the shuttle relay; also qualified for state in the 110m high hurdles.

Academic: Social Work major; Developmental psychology minor. Personal: son of Steve and Cathy; brother to Kelsie, Maggie and Molly.
