    Assistant Coach - Sprints
Karl Bahrke is in his fifth season as an assistant coach within the Northwestern College track and field program. He is in charge of the sprinters.

Family: Wife-Julie, sons-Scott and Kyle, daughters-Renae and Laura

Alma Mater (Year): Northwestern in 1979

Athletic Career: Played football and ran track for NWC 

Coaching Experience: named the Iowa Association of Track Coaches (IATC) Regional Coach of the Year in 2012 and 2013.
     spent 33 years teaching and coaching track & field at Woodbury Central.
     also coached many other sports during his career including football, basketball and softball.
